Penn State Shenango announces spring 2022 dean's list

Penn State Shenango Campus Director Jo Anne Carrick announced 98 students named to the spring 2022 dean’s list. The dean’s list recognizes the students who were enrolled full time and earned a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Penn State Shenango celebrates commencement, nursing ceremonies

Penn State Shenango celebrated the class of 2022 at a commencement ceremony on May 7. The 44 graduates were honored with addresses by Ty Cole of JCL Energy, graduating student Rachel Maynard, and Penn State Shenango Alumni Society President Darren Steele. Prior to the celebration, a private nursing pinning ceremony was hosted by faculty to welcome graduates to the profession.

$4M in endowments to support Shenango LaunchBox, economic development in Sharon

Two new endowments totaling $4 million will increase economic development in western Pennsylvania through a partnership between Penn State and the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern OH, with support of the Sharon community. Expanding the region’s innovation, entrepreneurial and business support offerings, the endowments will establish a Penn State LaunchBox at Penn State Shenango and a fund to support business owners in Sharon.

Shenango dual enrollment application open to high school students

Partnering with area high schools, Penn State Shenango offers a dual enrollment schedule that runs from August to May. The schedule features general education courses, allowing high schoolers to apply the credits they earn to a Penn State degree or transfer the courses to another college.

Penn State campus climate survey to close on April 22

Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.
