Penn State Shenango celebrated the class of 2023 at a commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in the Auditorium. The graduates and guests heard from alumna Carolyn Weiss of The Pension Boards, who gave the keynote address, as well as graduating student Selina Beach and Penn State Shenango Alumni Society Vice President Mandy Stingis. Prior to the celebration, a private nursing pinning ceremony was hosted by faculty to welcome graduates to the profession.
Penn State Behrend awarded 632 degrees at its spring commencement ceremony. Dr. Ala Stanford, a health policy adviser who was named a “Top 10 CNN Hero” in 2021, gave the commencement address at the ceremony, which was held at Erie Insurance Arena.

Penn State York continued its open microphone tradition where graduating students can speak to the crowd for a moment. Gavin R. Franz entertained the crowd with a beatbox riff. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in English and a minor in writing and digital media.
