Halloween costume party to benefit THON

A children’s Halloween party, sponsored by Penn State Shenango benefiting THON, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in the Shenango campus auditorium -- located across from the Sharon Post Office in downtown Sharon, Pennsylvania. The event is open to the public -- children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Admission cost is $1.

The Penn State Shenango Alumni Society will hold its 15th annual Golf Scramble on June 18 at the Pine Lakes Golf Club in Hubbard, Ohio. Don't miss out on the fun, prizes and Penn State spirit! Proceeds from the event benefit Penn State Shenango student scholarships and special projects.

Fourth annual THON spaghetti dinner to be held in January

On Jan. 22, 2016, Penn State Shenango will host its fourth annual THON spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. in the campus auditorium. The event is sponsored by Penn State Shenango benefiting THON and various local restaurants. All proceeds will support kids with cancer. Additionally, individuals may make a contribution to pediatric cancer at www.thon.org. Penn State Shenango’s code is #167.

Shenango holds fourth annual 5K in memory of Jane Williams

Penn State Shenango will hold its fourth annual Dr. Jane A. Williams Memorial 5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Shenango campus located in downtown Sharon, Pennsylvania. The event is in honor of Williams, who was employed at the Shenango campus for 25 years before dying after a brief illness.
