DUI Moving Memorial to stop at Penn State Shenango

Penn State Shenango will host the Pennsylvania DUI Moving Memorial from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the south wing of Parking Lot A located on Penn Avenue in downtown Sharon. The traveling memorial pays homage to the victims of DUI crashes in Pennsylvania.

Shenango to present 'Star Child' as annual holiday production Dec. 2-4

The Penn State Shenango Drama Club is in final rehearsals for its presentation of the original comedy "Star Child." The holiday production will launch at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, with matinee performances on Dec. 3 and 4. Admission, which is $8 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and $5 for children under age 4, includes a snack at intermission and an opportunity to visit with Santa after the show.

Sixteen Penn State campuses, plus Penn State World Campus, have been named 2017 “Military Friendly Schools” by ratings organization Victory Media.

Shenango PTA students to hold community collection drive for Toys for Tots Fdn.

Penn State Shenango is sponsoring a toy drive to benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation. The annual community collection drive, staffed by Shenango campus Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) students and faculty, will take place at the Hermitage Wal-Mart Super Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., November 19. Shenango to host GirlScouts@PSU program

On Sat., Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., approximately 100 area Brownie, Daisy, Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts will be attending a patch program at Penn State Shenango. The event is being hosted by the campus’ Occupational Therapy (OT) and STEM Clubs. Other volunteers at the event include members of the Shenango River Watchers.
