In 1967, the Shenango Valley Campus' men's basketball team won the Penn State Campuses State Championship. Over the past five decades, the campus has seen many changes, including the closure, and reinstatement, of its very successful athletic program.

Invent Penn State initiative supports student internship

Penn State Shenango student Riley Atterholt completed his business internship at the eCenter@LindenPointe. The internship was funded through the campus' VenturePointe incubator, which is located at the eCenter, and made possible by the Invent Penn State initiative.

Shenango announces reinstatement of its Athletic Program

With the reinstatement of its Athletic Program, Penn State Shenango will once again be competing in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). The campus will begin competing in men's basketball and women's volleyball in the fall of 2018.

Several Penn State Shenango students and two staff members will spend this year's spring break in Belize as part of the campus' Alternative Spring Break. This will be the second time that Shenango students have visited Belize to help the native Mayan citizens.

Ashley Balas, a non-traditional student at Penn State Shenango, enjoys learning and working hard to some day become a pharmaceutical representative. However, it is the thrill of stunt work and acting that really keeps her life fulfilled.
