If it becomes necessary to change campus operating schedules due to weather or other conditions, we will utilize the PSUAlert system and local media to notify staff, faculty, and students. For severe weather overnight, the announcement to cancel or delay the start of classes will be made at approximately 6 a.m.

If road conditions are hazardous only in the early morning hours, classes will begin at a specified time. Example: If there is a delayed start, it could be communicated that classes would begin at 10:00 a.m. Employees should report to work at their regular scheduled time. However, staff should use sound judgement and caution when reporting to work and contact their supervisor if their schedule needs to be altered.

All inquiries concerning class cancellations that occur during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday) should be directed to the Academic Affairs Office at 724-983-2825.
