Fitness Center
Located conveniently on campus, Penn State Shenango’s Fitness Center provides free student access to a variety of equipment. With state-of-the-art strength and cardiovascular training tools, our Fitness Center can support you at any stage in your fitness journey.
Register for a Fitness Center timeslot
To offer the optimal experience, Fitness Center visitors are required to book their workout time. Center hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. most weekdays, but check the Bookings site for the most up-to-date information. A valid Penn State id+ Card is required to access the Center in the ground floor of Sharon Hall.
Additionally, the campus has two locker rooms located just outside the Fitness Center with showers and lockers for storage. Lockers can be reserved in the Student Affairs office.
Penn State Shenango Athletics
Penn State Shenango’s athletic teams compete throughout the region in men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, co-ed golf and men’s baseball programs.

We are proud that our faculty, staff, students, and community members come together in masses to cheer on our Shenango Lions – it’s truly an unmated atmosphere.
Penn State Shenango competes in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and is nationally affiliated with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). In addition to the 13 campus conference members in the PSUAC, the Shenango Lions compete against other local colleges and universities.
