Some students choose to remain at Penn State Shenango for all four years, while others spend their first two years at here then transition to another campus for their remaining two years. We call it the 2+2 plan, and it’s the most common path to a Penn State degree. More than 60 percent of Penn State students begin at a Commonwealth campus.
Penn State Shenango offers two Nurse Practitioner options through the Penn State College of Nursing. The M.S.N. Nurse Practitioner options enable baccalaureate-prepared nurses to acquire knowledge and clinical practice skills in direct care of individuals, families and aggregate populations.
