Some students choose to remain at Penn State Shenango for all four years, while others spend their first two years here, then transition to another campus for their remaining two years. We call it the 2+2 plan, and it’s the most common path to a Penn State degree. More than 60% of Penn State students begin at a Commonwealth campus.

Penn State Shenango’s Academic and Career Planning Services center houses the offices of Academic Advising, the Division of Undergraduate Studies, Registration, and Career Services as a one-stop-shop to facilitate success both as a student and beyond graduation.

Penn State Bookstore

Our Barnes & Noble Bookstore is the campus one-stop shop for apparel, gifts, and accessories. Bookstore staff work with faculty prior to each semester to list course textbooks online and ensure our students are getting competitive deals on new, used, and rental options.

In addition to the 35,000+ books and journals housed in the Library, students are also able to borrow items from the Penn State library system, and the Big Ten Universities’ libraries. The Library also has an extensive collection of DVDs, board games, New York Times bestsellers, virtual reality equipment, digital cameras, and laptops available for rent.
