Fuel for the Future, a program created by the Penn State Shenango Staff Advisory Council (SAC), raises funds in order to purchase fuel card awards for Shenango students entering an unpaid internship or clinical rotation.
Interested students complete an application and are interviewed by the Fuel for the Future Committee, which then issues the awards based on financial need, application letter, and interview process.
To date, more than $7,000 in fuel cards have been given to deserving students, raised entirely from faculty and staff contributions.
