Every year Shenango welcomes a large population of students who are undecided on their major, interested in one of Penn State’s 275+ majors or who are still in high school getting a jumpstart on college through our Dual Enrollment program.
Prioritizing student success, our Academic and Career Planning Services office and our campus SHARC Learning Center provide incredible support starting your first day on campus. Academic advisers work with students on selecting their ideal major, while a career counselor helps develop your professional presence so you’re ready to hit the ground running after graduating with a Penn State degree.
Outside the classroom, you will work with faculty on resume-boosting experiences like undergraduate research, study abroad, our rigorous Honors Program and major-focused student organizations.
