Eight Penn State student startups showcased their innovations. The student companies were selected for their winning participation in the Inc.U Competition and the Penn State Summer Founders Program. Each of the student-based companies received $2,000 to help move their companies forward.
Entrepreneurial students pitch their idea at the IdeaMakers Challenge during the 2018 Penn State Startup Week. This year's weeklong event, to be held April 1-5, 2019, will offer a number of competitions and challenges for students and University community members to pitch their ideas and create inventive solutions to common problems.
Keeping communities safe will take a collective effort. The campaign messaging is grounded in insights from surveys and focus groups comprised of students, faculty, staff and the State College community, and is a direct expectation for everyone to take personal actions to help create a safer environment as students return to campuses across the commonwealth.
