Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), part of Penn State University Libraries, has named 21 recipients of the 2026 Faculty Engagement Awards with this year’s theme, “Teaching with AI Glasses: Augmented Reality for Real-Time Learning.”
At its meeting on Friday, Sept. 18, the Penn State Board of Trustees voted to approve the sale of the Penn State Shenango property to JCL Development LLC for $1 million, and the sale of the Penn State Wilkes-Barre property to HGC Development LLC for $5.25 million.
Constitution Day, held on Sept. 17 each year, will be marked with several events at Penn State campuses across the commonwealth. Established by law in 2004, it is a federal observance that commemorates the U.S. Constitution on the day it was signed in 1787. In addition, Sept. 15 is National Voter Registration Day.
Lindsey Simon-Jones and Jennifer P. Nesbitt have been appointed associate deans in the University College at Penn State, bringing extensive academic leadership experience at the Commonwealth Campuses to roles responsible for curricular, student and faculty affairs across the college.
In recognition of his leadership, advocacy and service to nursing, Donald Bucher recently received the Nese College of Nursing's Alumni Achievement Award, the college’s most distinguished alumni honor.
