Approximately 15,019 degrees were awarded to graduates across the University at Penn State's 2020 spring commencement on May 9, 2020.

Approximately 910,225 total degrees have been conferred at Penn State since 1861, as of the end of the spring 2020 semester.

Graduates receiving their degrees at the end of the 2020 spring semester represent 142 countries.

As is customary, the Spring 2020 Commencement ceremony at Penn State was officially concluded with the playing of the University's Alma Mater. Members of the Penn State Blue Band, along with a variety of singers, joined together for a virtual performance of the traditional song at the conclusion of the livestream of the event on the afternoon of May 9.
