Biography
Mark is currently completing his dissertation in Communication and Rhetorical Studies titled, “Border Rhetoric and the Imposition of Nationalism” at Duquesne University. He joins the Shenango campus community after teaching professional communication and argumentation composition courses at various universities in Western Pennsylvania. His research interests have a strong foundation in the critical humanities and the study of how humans relate to each other through various forms of communication. A recent transplant to the Pittsburgh area, Mark is very excited to be teaching the Art of Cinema course here at Penn State Shenango.
