Do you plan to finish your degree at another campus? I am actually going to finish my degree at the Shenango Campus.

Why did you choose the Shenango Campus? I chose the Shenango campus because of how at home I felt the first week of classes. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful and still are to this day.

What are you involved in on campus? I am apart of the Women’s Volleyball team. Which helped me build friendships and helped manage my time better.

What are you involved in outside of campus? I am a Care Giver and I belong to Saint Joseph’s Church.

Why do you love Penn State Shenango? I love Penn State Shenango because it gave me so many people I can call my family now.

What is your favorite Penn State memory? My favorite Penn State memory is when the volleyball team had to travel to Main Campus for a weekend of tournaments and a lot of fun!

Who has made an impact on your life personally or on campus? Why? My parents have made a huge impact on my life personally. Always pushing me to do the best that I can and helping me stay on the right path. Even when I would fall off, they are always there to help me back on.

Have you benefited from philanthropy? Growing up in a Catholic school has made a huge impact on always helping others in need before yourself. I was always doing some type of charity work. If it was not a food drive, it was a toy drive. This always brought joy to me seeing these people so happy and thankful for all that we have done for them.

Where do you see yourself after graduating from Penn State? I hope to be on a police force in Florida. Anywhere in Florida would be perfect for me! I hope to succeed in my work and become a very high ranked police officer.

One surprising fact about yourself: I enjoy riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. If it rains the day before I ride that just makes it even better!

Why would you recommend Penn State Shenango to future students? I would recommend Penn State Shenango because there are so many benefits you can get! Many scholarship opportunities make it financially better than most campuses. And you get your own little place to call home.

Any advice to future students? My advice would be to always stay up to date on assignments or even two steps ahead of them. It’s easy to forget or just to get distracted, so yes always stay ahead.
