Penn State Shenango graduates recognized at in-person commencement

On Saturday, May 8, the Penn State Shenango class of 2021 celebrated commencement at a small ceremony with loved ones. Remarks were shared by Campus Director Jo Anne Carrick, Faculty Marshal Angela Pettit, student speaker Donovan Verges, Registrar Matthew Goral, and Penn State Shenango Alumni Society President Carl Sizer III.

Second-year biological engineering student Dan Foust will take his first steps towards a career in the agriculture field this summer. This internship will build upon his foundation of undergraduate research and hands-on experience with the Sharon Wastewater Treatment Plant accomplished at the Shenango campus.

Penn State Shenango announces fall 2020 dean's list

Penn State Shenango has announced the campus dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester. In recognition of academic excellence, students who maintain a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher are named to the dean's list each semester.

Five innovators compete in ‘What’s Your Big Idea’ challenge

Five finalists will compete in the live “Shark Tank”-style competition at 5 p.m. on March 24. Community members are invited to tune in on Penn State Shenango’s YouTube page. This event is in collaboration with sponsors the eCenter @ LindenPointe and Penn-Northwest Development Corporation.
