SHARON, Pa. — Penn State Shenango’s STEM Camp will be offered two weeks this summer, in June and July, due do its popularity in 2015. Middle school-aged children are invited to participate in the STEM day camps, which run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, and Monday, July 11, through Friday, July 15. Both weeks offer the exact same programs. The weeklong STEM camps, which stand for science, technology, engineering and math, will be available to students entering grades seven, eight and nine this coming fall.
The cost of the camp is $95 per week and is limited to the first 24 paid applicants. Students will be able to enjoy their packed lunch in the campus’ air conditioned Great Hall, as well as a daylong field trip off campus on the last day of camp each week.
Each day the camp sessions will be taught by Penn State Shenango faculty experts who will engage students in learning while offering a variety of topics and fun activities related to STEM subjects.
