Penn State Shenango Campus Director Jo Anne Carrick announced 89 students have been named to the spring 2023 dean’s list. The dean’s list recognizes the students who were enrolled full time and earned a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Penn State Shenango celebrated the outstanding achievements of students and employees at the annual Award Ceremony and Honors Convocation, held at the Avalon Country Club at Buhl Park on Thursday, May 4.
Penn State Shenango celebrated the class of 2023 at a commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in the Auditorium. The graduates and guests heard from alumna Carolyn Weiss of The Pension Boards, who gave the keynote address, as well as graduating student Selina Beach and Penn State Shenango Alumni Society Vice President Mandy Stingis. Prior to the celebration, a private nursing pinning ceremony was hosted by faculty to welcome graduates to the profession.
Penn State Behrend awarded 632 degrees at its spring commencement ceremony. Dr. Ala Stanford, a health policy adviser who was named a “Top 10 CNN Hero” in 2021, gave the commencement address at the ceremony, which was held at Erie Insurance Arena.
