Penn State Shenango is sponsoring a toy drive to benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation. Penn State Shenango and the Sharon City School District are partnering to provide the second annual STEAM Day on Nov. 21. STEAM day is a unique experience offered to over 150 sixth grade students in the Sharon City School District.
The Penn State Shenango Drama Club is in final rehearsals for its presentation of the original comedy "Star Child." The holiday production will launch at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, with matinee performances on Dec. 3 and 4. Admission, which is $8 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and $5 for children under age 4, includes a snack at intermission and an opportunity to visit with Santa after the show.
Penn State Shenango will host the Pennsylvania DUI Moving Memorial from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the south wing of Parking Lot A located on Penn Avenue in downtown Sharon. The traveling memorial pays homage to the victims of DUI crashes in Pennsylvania.
The Penn State Shenango Drama Club will present an original comedy, "Star Child," this weekend, Dec. 2-4, continuing its tradition of offering the community a holiday play designed to appeal to children of all ages.
